Chairman's Letter - Club Lotto Appeal

I hope you are well in these unprecedented times. I feel I speak for all players, parents, members and supporters in saying we miss the buzz of activity and enjoyment that usually radiates from our grounds in Ballinspittle. It doesn’t seem right to have our pitches empty.

In fact, we now have over 300 underage players and 100 adult players playing for Courcey Rovers. I am tremendously proud that our club is growing and we have excellent facilities within which to thrive as a club. That said, our pitches, ball alley, gym, car park and surrounds all require ongoing maintenance and upkeep even while we are closed due to the current restrictions.

The past year has been tough, we have not had the opportunity to host any of our physical fundraising events and we face a significant financial burden as a result.

I am contacting you to ask for your support. Our club Lotto Draw continues to operate as we all stay at home. I would really appreciate if you would kindly participate in our weekly lotto. This €2 per week provides us with greatly needed funds to help cover the ongoing costs of running such a thriving club.

I have included details on how you can join and support our club. I look forward to welcoming you all back to Courceys shortly, when it is safe to do so.

Finally, sign up by March 12th and be in with a chance to win €1,000 in our bonus draw on St Patrick’s Night !!
